Carl A. Taylor, Esquire has practiced law throughout New Jersey since 2009. Carl joined the Simone Law Firm, P.C. from a regional law firm where he practiced in their Education Law and Governmental Services departments. Carl’s prior experience also includes serving as Deputy County Counsel for the County of Somerset, serving as township attorney, serving as counsel to the Somerset County Board of Construction Appeals, serving as counsel to the Somerset County Agriculture Development Board, and serving as municipal prosecutor for more than a dozen municipalities. Carl also has extensive experience in family law, and authored the book “Happily Even After: the Guide to Divorce in New Jersey,” which is now in its second edition. Carl has also been published numerous times in the New Jersey Law Journal, and is the former trustee of the Somerset County Bar Association. Carl is a trained family law mediator.

Collectively Carl has had significant exposure to various areas of law both in both Civil and Criminal Litigation. His experience of representing government entities, insurance carriers, schools, businesses and individuals serves clients of the Simone Law Firm, P.C. well in their various legal needs. Carl has successfully represented clients in our state superior courts, appellate courts, municipal courts, and District federal Courts. Carl is a graduate of Rutgers Camden School of Law. While in law school, Carl served as law clerk to firm founder Michael Simone, Esq.

Carl resides in Burlington County with his wife, two daughters, and their collie. He is a lifelong fan of the Philadelphia Phillies, an avid reader, and an aspiring gardener.
