James D. Gaumond

 

James D. Gaumond, Esquire, is a licensed attorney in Pennsylvania and New Jersey with over thirty-three (33) years of experience in business and transactional law, estate planning, real estate, and nonprofit representation. He has served as general counsel for public and private companies, advised nonprofit organizations, and led legal efforts in complex development and community impact projects.

Mr. Gaumond earned his law degree from Widener University School of Law, where he founded the school’s Juvenile Justice Program. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Political Science from Salem College, where he attended on full leadership scholarship and served as Captain of the College Rugby Team. He later earned a Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.) from the University of Pennsylvania. He also holds a Pennsylvania real estate license and regularly handles legal matters related to residential and commercial transactions.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Gaumond founded and led an affordable housing consulting firm, overseeing all phases of development, including land acquisition, project financing, and build-out. He also spent eight years advising professional athletes, particularly in the NFL, on legal, nonprofit, and business matters related to community initiatives and philanthropy.

Mr. Gaumond lives with his wife, a memory care expert and author, in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. They enjoy spending time at the beach, working out, playing pickleball, volunteering, and supporting faith-based and community-focused causes.
